Forsberg scored an even-strength goal on a team-high nine shots on net and added a power-play assist and a hit in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Canucks.
Scouting Report
Has just about everything you would want in a top-six forward: a quick release, good smarts and the ability to make plays for teammates. He has sound defensive instincts, is dangerous on the power play and can kill penalties if needed. Consistency is not a problem but injuries have been a major issue for him; he could stand to get a little stronger.
Long Range Potential: High-scoring and versatile winger.
