Pederson was scratched from the Giants' Cactus League lineup Tuesday due to lower-body tightness, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Pederson went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Friday's Cactus League loss to the Athletics.
A great athlete, he boasts power and speed. Is capable of covering the ground in center field but he can also play the other two outfield positions and first base, which adds to his overall value in MLB. Is also a patient hitter who can draw a ton of walks. Despite his high walks total, he is still not a great hitter for average. Also, he does not steal many bases.
Long Range Potential: Athletic, versatile left-handed slugger.
