Gafford contributed 20 points (8-10 FG, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 19 minutes during Sunday's 132-97 loss to the Grizzlies.
Gafford will start Sunday's game against the Grizzlies, Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Has good length for either the center or power forward positions at the National Basketball Association level. Is also an exceptional athlete, so that helps him defend down low and pick up a lot of "garbage" points in the paint. Could stand to add even more bulk and become stronger (especially for the center position) at the highest level. He also needs to continue to work on his shooting ability (and range).
Long Range Potential: Athletic, project big man with upside.
