A decorated four-year college kicker, he is reliable--within limits--on field goals and dependable on extra-point attempts. Is generally consistent from short and medium range. Was successful in a major program at the University of Miami (Fla) against high stakes competition. A good all-around athlete, he can cover on returns and will throw his body into the fray. His field goal accuracy deteriorates sharply beyond 45 yards. Lacks consistent touchback length on kickoffs. Also, he has scant experience kicking in sub-optimal conditions. His small frame may also be prone to injury.
