High expectations followed him out of Clemson University (NCAA), where he capped his college career with a national title and the Ted Hendricks Award as defensive end of the year. Is relentless on the pass rush and a stalwart versus the run as a prototypical 4-3 end. Explodes off the snap and attacks blockers with an arsenal of moves and strong, active hands. A high character player, he maxes out on intangibles for consistency, effort and leadership qualities. Must prove his college production can translate fully to the top level. Lacks the athleticism to play as an outside edge rusher.
Long Range Potential: Talented, all-around defensive end.
