Guhle, who missed the final seven games of the regular season due to a head injury, will join Team Canada for the upcoming IIHF World Championship.
Guhle sustained a head injury April 4 versus the Lightning that cost him the last seven games of the season, but he hasn't been ruled out from joining Team Canada at the IIHF World Championship in May, Arpon Basu of The Athletic reports.
Similar to his older brother (NHL defenseman Brendan Guhle), he has a very projectable frame and tremendous skating ability. Can do a little bit of everything on the ice and can be used in all game situations. Is not a natural power-play quarterback but he can be an asset on the offensive side of the ice. Needs to round out all aspects of his game and fill out his big frame in order to maximize his minutes in the National Hockey League. He plays a style eerily similar to his older brother.
Long Range Potential: Big, raw all-around defenseman with upside.
