Pettersson inked a three-year, entry-level contract with Vancouver on Wednesday.
Scouting Report
The Swedish defenseman has an NHL-caliber tool kit. He knows how to use his size to close gaps and defend in transition. He has good defensive awareness, and his skating allows him to jump into the play when needed. He needs more poise with the puck and has to improve his passing skills.
