Jarnkrok (hand) was activated from long-term injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.
Jarnkrok (hand) may not be ready for Game 1 of the postseason. Coach Sheldon Keefe told reporters Monday, "Still to be determined, but I think he's more in a day-to-day situation. Unfortunately we're running out of schedule here," per Mark Masters of TSN.
The Swedish forward is small by NHL standards but sees the ice well, has a high hockey IQ and is solid defensively. He is also slick with the puck on his stick and can play center or either wing. He is an effective 200-foot player at any position, though he would benefit by shooting the puck more so opponents cannot drop off him.
Long Range Potential: Versatile two-way forward.
