Forsberg stopped 17 shots in Thursday's 4-0 loss to the Sabres.
Forsberg was the first goalie to leave the ice Thursday, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports, indicating he'll tend the twine at home versus Buffalo.
The Swedish goalkeeper is still trying to translate his success at home and in the AHL into a full-time role in the NHL. Has good size (6’2”) but needs to fill out and add strength to maximize his skills. At his best, he is a butterfly netminder who likes to challenge shooters. Remains somewhat raw and needs work on his technique in order to become consistent enough to play at the NHL level.
Long Range Potential: Inconsistent but talented goaltender.
