Grzelcyk signed a one-year, $2.75 million contract with the Penguins on Monday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Scouting Report
Is smart, skilled and a good skater; he has everything but size (5'9") and durability. Is extremely mobile, can skate the puck out of trouble or make a good breakout pass. The puck tends to spend a lot of time in the opponent’s zone when he is on the ice. Will not put up huge offensive numbers but can provide depth scoring from the back end.
Long Range Potential: Solid, mobile defenseman.
