Burroughs scored a goal, blocked five shots, logged two hits and added two PIM in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sharks.
Scouting Report
The journeyman spent six seasons in the minors (after being selected in the seventh round of the 2013 draft) before finally seeing the ice in the NHL for the first time. He got there because he is willing to play a physical game and step up for his teammates when needed, despite only average size. Having realized his NHL dream, he plays every shift like he has no intention of giving it up.
Long Range Potential: Gritty depth defenseman.
