Eyssimont scored a goal on three shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.
The feisty forward took the long route to the NHL, playing two years in the USHL, three seasons of college hockey and four more in the AHL before reaching the big league in his mid-20s. He has good hockey IQ, is tenacious on the forecheck and in the corners, and wins his share of puck battles. Has also shown some scoring chops at lower levels, so he can be more than just a banger at the NHL level.
Long Range Potential: Hard-nosed depth forward.
