Eyssimont scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blues.
Eyssimont, two first-round picks (2026, 2027) and a 2025 second-round selection were acquired by Seattle from Tampa Bay on Wednesday in exchange for Yanni Gourde, Oliver Bjorkstrand and a 2026 fifth-round pick, per Pierre LeBrun of TSN.
The feisty forward took the long route to the NHL, playing two years in the USHL, three seasons of college hockey and four more in the AHL before reaching the big league in his mid-20s. He has good hockey IQ, is tenacious on the forecheck and in the corners, and wins his share of puck battles. Has also shown some scoring chops at lower levels, so he can be more than just a banger at the NHL level.
Long Range Potential: Hard-nosed depth forward.
