Drury will miss a minimum of four weeks after undergoing hand surgery, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports Tuesday.
Head coach Rod Brind'Amour said Thursday that Drury will undergo hand surgery and doesn't have a timetable to return, Ryan Henkel of The Hockey News reports.
The son of former NHLer Ted Drury has a tremendous compete level and great consistency. Can play in all game situations and is a sound two-way performer. Owns a motor that never quits. Is a little undersized, so he needs to add more bulk and get physically stronger in order to play in all situations at the National Hockey League level. Is not an elite skater, nor an elite scorer.
Long Range Potential: Sound, two-way center with upside.
