In many ways, he is a prototype for the center position: big, strong, fast and talented with the ability to play at both ends of the ice. Makes his teammates around him better by his overall play. Can score goals as well as set up his linemates. Is a very good skater for his size. Owns an NHL body. May not become an elite scorer at the highest level but he does everything well and contributes greatly to his team's success.
