Byfield was called up from the AHL by Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Scouting Report
The No. 2 pick in the 2020 NHL Draft has all the tools to be a No. 1 center: size, strength, speed and skill. Is a load to deal with when he is at top speed; he can go around opposing checkers or through them. His shot is also a dangerous weapon. Injuries have been a problem. He is a student of the game and is still learning the little things needed for NHL success.
Long Range Potential: Talented center with big upside.
