The Mets signed Curtiss (elbow) and placed him on the 60-day injured list Wednesday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
Scouting Report
Has experience as a late-inning reliever in the minor leagues, mainly due to his ability to strike batters out with consistency. Owns an ideal frame for a big-league pitcher. Can be a bit too wild at times, so he needs to become more of a control artist in order to maximize output in Major League Baseball. Could also use more stamina.
Long Range Potential: Decent reliever.
