Taylor carried the ball 25 times for 96 yards and caught his only target for a seven-yard touchdown in Sunday's 25-24 win over the Patriots.
Taylor rushed 11 times for 35 yards and was not targeted as a receiver in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions.
His ferocious college workload recalls the legendary power backs of the past, something seldom seen in the modern NFL game. The former high school track star smashed through the Big Ten leaving a trail of broken records, including consecutive 2,000-yard seasons and 50 rushing touchdowns in three years. Combines sprinter speed with endurance, vision and instincts as a turf-eating terror. Has the open-field burst to produce chunk plays. Must step up his receiving skills and reduce his fumble rate at the next level. His career arc in the professional ranks may be shorter than average.
