Taylor rushed the ball 21 times for 85 yards in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Texans. He added three receptions on five targets for 36 yards.
Taylor rushed 16 times for 58 yards and brought in two of three targets for eight yards in the Colts' 23-20 overtime loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.
His ferocious college workload recalls the legendary power backs of the past, something seldom seen in the modern NFL game. The former high school track star smashed through the Big Ten leaving a trail of broken records, including consecutive 2,000-yard seasons and 50 rushing touchdowns in three years. Combines sprinter speed with endurance, vision and instincts as a turf-eating terror. Has the open-field burst to produce chunk plays. Must step up his receiving skills and reduce his fumble rate at the next level. His career arc in the professional ranks may be shorter than average.
Long Range Potential: Explosive, thoroughbred running back with some upside.
