McGinn underwent disc surgery on his back and will be sidelined for four months.
Scouting Report
Makes his living thanks to his grit and work ethic. He is an industrious checker at both ends of the ice and can make life unpleasant for opposing defensemen. Kills penalties well and is a threat to score when his team is a man down. Has moderate offensive ability but plays responsible hockey no matter the level of the competition. Is effective at either wing position.
Long Range Potential: Industrious, defense-first winger.
