Morrissey scored a power-play goal and added two assists, one with the man advantage, in Saturday's 7-0 rout of the Avalanche.
Morrissey recorded three assists, including two on the power play, in Friday's 6-0 shutout victory over the Ducks.
The smooth-skating defenseman can play huge minutes because he is productive at both ends of the ice. His offensive game has perked up as he has moved into the prime of his NHL career, helped by a booming slap shot that is a weapon on the power play. Is also capable of being a solid shutdown defenseman and can average well over 20 minutes per game.
