Eriksson Ek delivered a power-play goal and an even-strength assist in Friday's 5-0 win over the Penguins.
Eriksson Ek scored a goal on five shots, added four hits and blocked two shots in Sunday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Sharks.
The big, strong two-way center is seeing his offensive numbers catch up with his already-proficient defensive skills. His vision and ability to make things happen are improving, although he is not a mainstay on the power play. His balance of skill and the ability to play well at both ends of the ice figure to earn him more playing time as he enters the prime of his career. He is also good at riling up opponents.
Long Range Potential: Two-way center with improving offensive and elite defensive skills.
