Texier signed a one-year, $1 million contract with Montreal on Sunday, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.
Scouting Report
The Frenchman has the tools to be an offensive force outside of the NHL. He is an excellent skater and a confident playmaker with good vision and excellent hand-eye coordination. He also uses his speed effectively in defensive situations. His biggest issue is that he has to get stronger to make the most of his attributes.
Long Range Potential: Swift two-way forward.
