The powerful Russian forward skates well and has all the tools needed for NHL success. He has the strength to win puck battles along the walls and in the corners, possesses good hockey sense and is also a decent playmaker. Consistency is an issue, as it is for many young players. Injuries continue to be a problem and have interrupted his development.
