Ersson will be unavailable for Thursday's game against Ottawa due to a lower-body injury.
Scouting Report
The talented Swedish goaltender was a regular in the SHL by age 20, then came to North America after two very good seasons with Brynas. He has the frame NHL teams like in their netminders, but will have to get stronger to deal with the more physical play and smaller rinks in the NHL. Injuries have been a problem for him.
Long Range Potential: Solid goaltender with upside.
