Has the innate instincts and depth of football knowledge expected of a son of a former NFL star (his father Shawn Jefferson, also a wide receiver, played 13 seasons). An adroit route runner, he boasts excellent moves at the line of scrimmage and makes precise breaks (with the sure hands of a reliable possession receiver). Creates separation on short-area throws with quickness, smarts and deception. Is also experienced as a punt returner.
