Holtz, Graeme Clarke, Nolan Foote, Brian Halonen, Tyce Thompson, Simon Nemec, Topias Vilen and Nico Daws were recalled from AHL Utica on Monday.
Holtz was reassigned to AHL Utica on Friday.
He was good enough to play with men in Sweden before he was 18, and much is expected after he was taken No. 7 overall in the 2020 NHL Draft. He has a solid base, excellent quickness and good lateral movement, enabling him to create offense from the wing. Knows how to get open and has a good shot; he will have to prove that it is good enough to beat NHL goalkeepers on a consistent basis. Like most players trained in Sweden, his off-the-puck play is solid.
Long Range Potential: Supremely talented scoring winger.
