Gudbranson (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.
Scouting Report
The No. 3 pick in the 2010 NHL Draft is a huge defensive defenseman who has to use his size in his own zone to be effective. He is willing to defend his teammates when needed, but has never blossomed into the kind of player his draft status suggested he would become. He remains a physical presence and sound penalty killer who is useful when he does not try to do too much with the puck.
Long Range Potential: Big defensive defenseman.
