Stolarz (knee) will be out for 4-6 weeks after undergoing a procedure to remove a loose body from his knee in New York on Wednesday, Dave McCarthy of NHL.com reports.

Stolarz (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
Scouting Report
One of the NHL's biggest netminders, his size alone helps him cover a lot of net. Must not allow the occasional bad goal to throw him off his game. Has bounced around a lot despite good minor-league numbers, largely because he has been inconsistent at the NHL level throughout his career. That said, his overall game is improving.
Long Range Potential: Competent goaltender.
