Per Heather Engel of NHL.com, Danforth (lower body) will miss more than one month, according to head coach Lindy Ruff on Friday.
Scouting Report
The first alumnus of Sacred Heart University to play in the NHL battled his way into the league after two successful seasons in Finland and one in the KHL. Has been a productive scorer at every level he has played at, despite his lack of ideal size for the pro game. He plays much bigger than his frame and is willing to throw his body around.
Long Range Potential: Depth forward.
