General manager Steve Staios said Friday that Norris (shoulder) will be ready for the start of training camp in September, Claire Hanna of TSN reports.
Norris will not play again this season after undergoing shoulder surgery, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports Monday.
The Michigan native has the kind of first-step quickness that can create separation from opposing checkers. Is a good playmaker who shoots well enough to keep opponents from dropping off of him. He put up good scoring numbers in college hockey and the AHL, and should become even more effective as his 6’1” frame fills out and his overall game matures.
Long Range Potential: Responsible center with plenty of offensive acumen.
