What does it give the St. Louis Blues
McNeill is a depth defenseman who plays a physical, stay-at-home game. He will provide organizational depth to St. Louis but might not reach the NHL.
What does it give the Pittsburgh Penguins
Kristo has a lot of AHL experience but is considered a journeyman winger without a lot of upside. He will add more scoring depth at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Kristo will not see enough NHL time to be a fantasy consideration, while McNeill will never be a fantasy consideration.
