BOLTS BRING IN DEPTH NETMINDER PASQUALE

The Tampa Bay Lightning acquired goaltender Edward Pasquale from the Edmonton Oilers for future considerations.

What does it give the Tampa Bay Lightning
The Lightning recently lost the services of backup goalkeeper Peter Budaj to a leg injury. Therefore, Louis Domingue has been filling in as the backup to Andrei Vasilevskiy in Tampa Bay since then. Pasquale will add organizational depth at the AHL level while Budaj is out of action.

What does it give the Edmonton Oilers
The Oilers have Laurent Brossoit and Nick Ellis in their system, both with more long-range upside than Pasquale. So, in order to have both Brossoit and Ellis sharing the net at the American Hockey League level, they needed to move Pasquale out. They will not receive much in return.

Fantasy impact
There are no fantasy implications after this deal, as this move only affects the minor-league affiliates of both Tampa Bay and Edmonton.
