ARIZONA ADDS HUDSON FASCHING FROM BUFFALO
The Arizona Coyotes acquired winger Hudson Fasching from the Buffalo Sabres for defenseman Brandon Hickey and winger Mike Sislo.
What does it give the Arizona Coyotes
In Fasching, the Coyotes land a big, strapping winger with some untapped scoring upside. He turns 23 next month and should be given a long look in Arizona training camp next autumn.
What does it give the Buffalo Sabres
Hickey has now been traded twice since being the Flames' third-round pick (64th overall) in 2014. He needs to be signed by August 15. Sislo will provide AHL depth for Buffalo.
Fantasy impact
Fasching has the most upside of the traded trio, but he is not more than a fantasy dark horse at this point. Hickey is a fantasy long shot and Sislo is a journeyman sans any real value.
