THRASH-BOLTS SWAP FOUR

The Atlanta Thrashers acquired defenseman Andy Delmore and forward Andre Deveaux from the Tampa Bay Lightning for wingers Kyle Wanvig and Stephen Baby.

What does it give the Atlanta Thrashers
In a deal involving four minor leaguers, the Thrashers added another candidate to see time on the point during the power play in Delmore, who is the epitome of the term "specialist" at this stage of his career. For now, he'll move from Springfield to Chicago of the AHL. Deveaux adds a little size and depth up front, but isn't likely to get the call to Atlanta anytime soon.

What does it give the Tampa Bay Lightning
The Bolts got a little bigger and grittier with the acquisition of both Wanvig and Baby, though neither is expected to see a lot of ice time in the NHL this season. Wanvig has NHL experience (Minnesota Wild), so he may get the call if injuries mount in Central Florida. The Bolts could use more players like Wanvig in their current lineup.
