TARNASKY TO NASHVILLE
The Nashville Predators acquired forward Nick Tarnasky from the Tampa Bay Lightning for a conditional draft pick in 2009.
What does it give the Nashville Predators
Tarnasky is currently out with a broken thumb but he should eventually become a regular on Nashville's fourth line. He should team with Scott Nichol as an agitating and unnerving pair on Line 4.
What does it give the Tampa Bay Lightning
The Lightning had too many forwards on their roster, so somebody had to go. It's a little surprising that the popular Tarnasky was let go, but the return is either a fifth or sixth rounder. That's too good to pass up.
