DOULL FOR ZINGER

The Washington Capitals acquired enforcer Doug Doull from the Phoenix Coyotes for defenseman Dwayne Zinger.

What does it give the Washington Capitals
The Capitals didn't have an enforcer since trading Stephen Peat to the Carolina organization recently, but Doull isn't expected to spend a lot of time in the NHL. He'll remain in the AHL, but will now join the Hershey Bears.

What does it give the Phoenix Coyotes
The Coyotes continue to make trades like they're going out of style. Zinger will merely play a depth role with the team's AHL affiliate in San Antonio.
