KINGS, COYOTES SWAP FORWARDS
The Los Angeles Kings acquired right wing Tim Jackman from the Phoenix Coyotes for center Yanick Lehoux.
What does it give the Los Angeles Kings
Jackman is a big body that has been an underachiever in the pro ranks. He was dealt from Columbus to Phoenix earlier in the season, and will get another fresh start in L.A.'s organization. Don't look for him to play with the Kings down the stretch.
What does it give the Phoenix Coyotes
The Coyotes obviously love Lehoux's potential, since they grabbed him off the waiver wire earlier in the season. However, he was re-acquired by the Kings when the Coyotes tried to send him down to their AHL affiliate in San Antonio. He has scoring potential, but time may be running out.
