Barring an injury to Ryan Miller, don't expect Ty Conklin to see any meaningful action this season. He's strictly a cheap insurance policy and will likely start against weaker teams whenever Miller needs a breather.

What does it give the Columbus Blue Jackets
With Pascal Leclaire and Fredrik Norrena on the scene, Conklin was expendable. The Blue Jackets remain in re-building mode, so acquiring draft picks is the best path for them.
