MINNESOTA MOVES FOR MARC-ANDRE FLEURY

The Minnesota Wild acquired goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury from the Chicago Blackhawks for a conditional second-round draft pick in 2022.

The Wild were rumored to be among the teams most interested in Fleury, and now they have their man. He is familiar with GM Bill Guerin, which probably factored in Fleury's decision to accept a deal to Minnesota. He upgrades the crease area for a team with high expectations come playoff time.
