The Boston Bruins acquired defenseman Josh Brown and a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2022 for winger Zach Senyshyn and a fifth-round draft pick in 2022.
What does it give the Boston Bruins
Adding Brown gives the Bruins added physicality and toughness on the blueline. He will probably play the role of sixth or seventh defenseman down the stretch.
What does it give the Ottawa Senators
The Senators get a two-round upgrade, plus Senyshyn--a failed first-round prospect. Brown was replaced earlier with the Travis Hamonic trade.
Fantasy impact
There is no need to pick up Brown, as he is a depth defenseman. As for Senyshyn, keep an eye on him. There is still some untapped upside there.
