DURZI DEALT TO ARIZONA
The Arizona Coyotes acquired defenseman Sean Durzi from the Los Angeles Kings for a second-round draft pick in 2024.
What does it give the Arizona Coyotes
In Durzi, the Coyotes land a very promising defenseman who can play in all game situations (and on either side of the ice). Look for him to log big minutes in the Arizona Desert. He might even become the team's No. 1 defenseman in 2023-24. He is a great addition.
What does it give the Los Angeles Kings
The Kings were reportedly less interested in dealing Durzi in talks with Winnipeg regarding center Pierre-Luc Dubois, but in actuality they dealt him to Arizona for a future pick. Does this mean LA is out on Dubois? Not necessarily. The pick is a '24 second-rounder from Montreal.
