PREDATORS PICK UP WINGER BEAUVILLIER

The Nashville Predators acquired winger Anthony Beauvillier from the Chicago Blackhawks for a fifth-round draft pick in 2024.

What does it give the Nashville Predators
The Predators caught fire recently, so they are now a good bet to reach the Stanley Cup playoffs. Beauvillier should be able to help as a secondary or tertiary scoring winger. He is a pending UFA, so there is a good chance that this move is a pure rental.

What does it give the Chicago Blackhawks
The Blackhawks did not get what they were expecting in Beauvillier, so they decided to turn it around quickly and move him on. They got back a fifth-rounder in this summer's draft, but Chicago still needs to address its top-six forwards situation.

Fantasy impact
Beauvillier could be a nice fit in Nashville under offensive head coach Andrew Brunette. Keep an eye on him, but there is no need to pick him up just yet.
