Cooley is a dart throw for the Sharks, but at this point why not? Goaltenders are late-blooming athletes quite often, so Cooley might be the latest in a long line of them.
What does it give the Buffalo Sabres
The Sabres were never going to give Cooley much of a shot behind Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and Devon Levi. So they took back a seventh-rounder in '25 here.
