The Seattle Kraken acquired winger Daniel Sprong from the Vancouver Canucks for future considerations.
What does it give the Seattle Kraken
Sprong was very good with Seattle during an 82-game stint during part of 2021-22 and all of 2022-23. So now he is back to try to help the struggling Kraken. He should be a good fit.
What does it give the Vancouver Canucks
The Canucks made a quick decision that Sprong was not going to fit Rick Tocchet's system, so they moved on from him. He does not make much money, but still was traded for nothing.
Fantasy impact
Sprong is a talented winger who should be a relevant fantasy performer, but he usually skates on the fourth line. So, he may not be worth the trouble in many fantasy formats. Buyer beware.
