ARNASON MOVES TO OTTAWA

The Ottawa Senators acquired center Tyler Arnason from the Chicago Blackhawks for right wing Brandon Bochenski and a second-round draft pick in 2006.

What does it give the Ottawa Senators
The Senators finally land the coveted second-line center they've lacked in Arnason, who will likely play alongside speedy winger Martin Havlat--when the Czech returns from injury. He has had issues off the ice in the past, so Arnason needs to grow up in a hurry in Ottawa--who are banking on him to play a big role in their Stanley Cup run.

What does it give the Chicago Blackhawks
Bochenski is another potential goal-scorer for the Blackhawks, and he will try to become a mainstay as part of their rebuilding plan. He needs a setup man in order to maximize potential at the NHL level, which is something the Blackhawks currently lack. However, he has time to develop in the Windy City. Adding the second rounder is probably the biggest news from a 'Hawks perspective.
