BRUINS GET PARLETT FOR CAMPER
The Boston Bruins acquired defenseman Blake Parlett from the Columbus Blue Jackets for center Carter Camper.
What does it give the Boston Bruins
This is a depth move for Boston, as they're deep at center but could always use another defenseman, in light of {P Dennis Seidenberg}'s season-ending injury. Parlett is expected to remain in the AHL.
What does it give the Columbus Blue Jackets
The Blue Jackets have impressive organizational depth on defense, so this deal makes sense for them as well. Like Parlett, though, expect Camper to remain in the AHL unless injuries hit Columbus in a big way.
Fantasy impact
Neither Parlett nor Camper has much fantasy value. Camper may have a bit more, but only because he is a forward. There's nothing to see here.
