PREDS LAND BOCHENSKI
The Nasville Predators acquired winger Brandon Bochenski from the Anaheim Ducks for future considerations.
What does it give the Nashville Predators
A relatively low-risk, medium-reward flier. The Preds are gearing up for a surprising playoff push and maybe Bochenski can provide his knack for scoring timely goals. He has shown some improvement in his own zone and has always had a nice scoring touch, but for some reason is with his fifth team since 2006. That makes him both popular and not-so-popular (if that's possible), so it's clear he has talent but also some baggage.
What does it give the Anaheim Ducks
The Ducks clear some salary-cap space with this move and say goodbye to a promising young player who just didn't fit anywhere in their plans to return to the Stanley Cup Finals.
