RANGERS ADD EMINGER

The New York Rangers acquired defenseman Steve Eminger from the Anaheim Ducks for wingers Aaron Voros and Ryan Hillier.

What does it give the New York Rangers
The Rangers hope the sixth time is the charm with Eminger, who now joins his sixth NHL organization in three years. He'll add depth and another right-handed shot from the blueline, but lacks consistency.

What does it give the Anaheim Ducks
Voros fell out of favor in Manhattan, but he could help the Ducks on their fourth line. Hillier is just a marginal prospect, but the prime motivation for making this deal was trading away Eminger.
