DUCKS GRAB AUBIN
The Anaheim Ducks acquired goaltender Jean-Sebastien Aubin from to the Los Angeles Kings for a seventh-round draft pick in 2008.
What does it give the Anaheim Ducks
Aubin gives the Ducks a steady veteran goalie who can occasionally spot the
stellar J-S Giguere. The team like young Jonas Hiller, but with such a
veteran bunch they probably don't feel terribly comfortable with the idea of
a mostly unproven youngster taking over for Giguere if needed in the
playoffs.
What does it give the Los Angeles Kings
This deal is a way for the Kings to cut more payroll and add another
prospect. Aubin wasn't in their rebuilding plans.
