BROOKBANK TO ANAHEIM

The Anaheim Ducks acquired defenseman Sheldon Brookbank from the New Jersey Devils for center David McIntyre.

What does it give the Anaheim Ducks
Brookbank was originally a Duck but never played with Anaheim the first time. He should add a little depth and toughness from the back end, and can also play wing if need be.

What does it give the New Jersey Devils
The Devils add McIntyre, who is now with his third NHL organization this season. They had little use for Brookbank, as he was scratched in all but 15 games this season.
