KINGS ADD LEGEIN FROM PHILLY

The Los Angeles Kings acquired winger Stefan Legein and a sixth-round draft pick in 2012 from the Philadelphia Flyers for future considerations.

What does it give the Los Angeles Kings
The Kings land a decent AHLer in Legein, albeit one with some baggage. They also receive a sixth rounder in this deal, which shouldn't cost them much at all in the end. Legein is expected to spend all of 2011-12 in Manchester (AHL).

What does it give the Philadelphia Flyers
The Flyers needed to shed a contract in order to keep Sean Couturier up with the big club past his nine-game trial, since Blair Betts failed his physical with Montreal and was returned to Philadelphia. So, Legein was the one to go.
